Case studies

Odoo ERP case studies

Eight businesses, eight operating models. Each entry below describes what was actually implemented, taken from the project rather than written for the website.

Where we do not have a measured outcome we say what was built and why it mattered, instead of inventing a percentage.

Businesses we implemented Odoo for

The scope described is what was delivered. Each one has a full case study underneath, and the sector page it belongs to.

Dhanalakshmi Industries

Manufacturing · India
What we implemented

Integrated sales, production, dispatch, invoicing, inventory and GST compliance through one connected Odoo ERP environment.

Why it mattered

Dispatch and invoicing were the handover points where quantities and tax treatment drifted. Bringing them into the same flow as manufacturing removed that gap. See Odoo for manufacturing.

NEXG logo

NEXG

Construction & projects · India
What we implemented

Integrated BOQ management, procurement, project execution, billing and financial reporting on a connected Odoo ERP platform.

Why it mattered

BOQ, site procurement and billing had been three separate records of the same job. See Odoo for construction.

Sanjeev Autoparts logo

Sanjeev Autoparts

Automotive parts · India
What we implemented

A customised Odoo ERP and CRM covering RFQ management, quotation tracking, sales forecasting, opportunity management and sales analytics.

Why it mattered

High RFQ volume with repeat part numbers needs quotation history in the same system as stock. See Odoo for automotive.

Electro Flux Equipments logo

Electro Flux Equipments

Equipment manufacturing · India
What we implemented

Centralised technical quotations, enquiry tracking, quotation revision control and sales analytics on a customised Odoo ERP platform.

Why it mattered

Engineered-to-order quotes go through many revisions. Without revision control, the version the customer holds and the version costed in production stop matching.

SESS

Projects & service · India
What we implemented

Integrated projects, procurement, inventory, AMC, warranty, service and accounting in a unified Odoo ERP environment.

Why it mattered

Project delivery and after-sales service shared the same stock and the same customers, but not the same system.

PV Constructions logo

PV Constructions

Construction · India
What we implemented

Centralised sales, accounting and company-wide management across multiple companies, for improved visibility and financial control.

Why it mattered

Multi-company operations were consolidated by hand at period end rather than reported continuously.

Anchor Marine Equipment Company LLC

Marine trading & service · Gulf
What we implemented

Integrated CRM, sales, inventory, service operations, purchasing, job costing, invoicing and financial reporting on one Odoo ERP platform.

Why it mattered

Trading and service were run as separate businesses sharing a stock room. See Odoo for trading.

Daisy Hospitals

Healthcare · India
What we implemented

Centralised patient records, consultations, laboratory reports, billing and inventory in an integrated hospital management system built on Odoo.

Why it mattered

Consultation, laboratory and pharmacy billed separately, so a patient episode had no single figure until accounts closed. See Odoo for healthcare.

Srivari Healthcare

Healthcare equipment · India
What we implemented

Inventory, warehouse, purchasing, sales and contacts with automated RFQ and invoicing, and rental management of the equipment.

Why it mattered

The same equipment is both sold and rented, and all of it was being tracked in Excel workbooks that disagreed with each other.

Canlitek Private Solutions

Service & manufacturing · India
What we implemented

Contacts, employees, inventory, purchase, sales, service and accounts on one database, with IoT-based automation and predictive analytics on the machinery.

Why it mattered

Service and manufacturing shared customers, parts and people but not a system, and the machine data being collected drove nothing.

What these projects have in common

Four patterns across every implementation on this page

Different sectors, different modules, the same four things decided whether each project worked.

  1. One system of record, not two

In every case the business was keeping the same facts in two places — stock in a spreadsheet and in an invoice, a BOQ in Excel and a purchase on site. The value came from collapsing that, not from a feature.

  2. The handover point was the problem

Dispatch to invoicing, quotation to production, service to stock. Failures cluster at the boundary between two teams, which is exactly where a shared database helps.

  3. Configuration before code

Each of these runs largely standard Odoo. Customisation was written where the business genuinely needed it, and named in the quote so the client could see what they were paying developer rates for.

  4. A named internal owner

Every project that went well had one person inside the business who could say "this process changes". That mattered more than any module choice.

FAQ

About these case studies

Why are there no percentage improvements on this page?
Because we only publish numbers a client measured and confirmed. Where we have the scope but not a verified figure, we describe what was built and why it mattered rather than inventing an improvement percentage. If you want measured outcomes, ask us on a call and we will tell you which clients have shared them.
Can we speak to a reference client?
For serious evaluations, yes. We ask the client first, and we will suggest the reference whose operation is closest to yours rather than the one with the best story.
Do you work outside India?
Yes. Anchor Marine Equipment Company LLC is in the Gulf, and we implement across India and the Gulf with requirement workshops run on site or remotely.
What size of business are these?
They range from single-site operations to multi-company groups. Odoo scales down better than most ERPs, which is why the module count and data quality matter more than headcount when we scope a project.

Your operation is probably closer to one of these than you think

Describe what is breaking today and we will tell you which of these projects is operationally closest — and what it took.
